In 17 AD, the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius destroyed this beautiful Roman city, leaving it completely buried in ash. Today, Pompeii is an important archaeological site, where the past comes to life through preserved streets, houses and ruins.

Note: This self-guided audio tour is subject to the opening days and hours for Pompeii. The entrance ticket to Pompeii is not included and needs to be purchased separately.
